A literal of don't judge a book by its cover . We were just roaming around and we came up on this place . Quite a simple looking place . A simple menu with freshly cooked meals in large trays . We ordered the biryani and chicken curry with chic peas which came with water , tea , and a roti included . A great package deal . Water included in packaged drinking water and nice hot masala Indian chai . If you are passing by I would definitely recommend to go have a cup of chai

অনেক দিনের ভাবনা ছিল, শিকাগোর মতো জায়গায় বাংলাদেশি খাবারের রেস্টুরেন্ট নেই কেন?! বিদেশি বন্ধুদের বাংলা খাবারের স্বাদ বোঝাতে ইন্ডিয়ান-পাকিস্তানি খাবার খাইয়ে বলতাম, “এর চেয়েও মজার খাবার আছে!” যাই হোক, প্রথমবার সেখানে গিয়ে খাবার খাওয়ার আগেই আতিথেয়তায় মুগ্ধ হলাম! বড় ভাইয়ের মতো প্লেটে তুলে সব খাবার টেস্ট করতে দিলেন! কারণ অবশ্য ছিল—আমরা বিয়ের খাবারের অর্ডার করতে গিয়েছিলাম। সেদিন টেস্ট করা খাবারগুলোর মধ্যে বাটার চিকেনটা সেরা ছিল, কিন্তু পরের দিন যখন “বিয়েবাড়ির খাবার” এলো—পোলাও-রোস্ট থেকে শুরু করে দই পর্যন্ত, এক কথায় অসাধারণ ছিল। মুরব্বি থেকে শুরু করে ছোটরা সবাই রেস্টুরেন্টের লোকেশন নিয়ে নিলো। আমাদের দেশি বিয়ের প্রোগ্রামের একটা বড় অংশই হচ্ছে খাবার, Masala Magic পুরো ব্যাপারটা সুন্দরভাবে সামলে দিয়েছে। ধন্যবাদ!

( I had been wondering for a long time, why isn’t there a Bangladeshi restaurant in a place like Chicago?! To explain the taste of Bangladeshi food to my friends, I would treat them to Indian-Pakistani food and say, “ours is even tastier food than this!” Anyway, the first time I went there, even before tasting the food, I was impressed by their hospitality! Like elder brothers, they served me a plate full of different dishes to taste! There was a reason for it, of course—we had gone to place a wedding food order. Among the items we tasted that day, the butter chicken was the best, but the next day, when the “wedding feast” arrived—starting from the polao-roast to the yogurt, everything was simply mind-blowing. From the elders to the youngsters, everyone took note of the restaurant’s location. A big part of our traditional Bangladeshi wedding program is the food, and Masala Magic handled the whole thing beautifully. Thank you! )

Great halal Bangladeshi restaurant with a huge parking place and a masjid downstairs. Great for family. Relatively cheaper compared to nearby restaurants.

Went here for the first time as was looking for a local halal restaurant. Attentive staff with a range of options including meat and veg. Had the goat meat biryani and chicken karahi. Was made well and the portion sizes were large (I am from the UK so to me they were large!) Good fulfilling meal at a good price. I wish the owners every success in this business.

They serve very good Bangladeshi cuisine. Definitely give it a go when you are around. The best part about them is how cordial they are with their customers and their eagerness to satisfy people.

First time I went there the stuff was super friendly always ask you if you need something and always ask for reviews. The food I got was biryani, paratha rool, korma with naan. The biryani was really good the spice level was balanced and the chicken was tender. The paratha roll was the best since the paratha was crispy and the tandoori chicken was filled with flavor. I don’t usually prefer korma but there korma was seeet and spicy just like how it should be. Over all I would rate it 8.7 out of 10
