Got there and wait was a little long, Definitely call ahead and make a reservation … so I left my name, but decided to sit at the bar. It turned out that was Every nice. No table necessary.
The bartenders were engaging. Atmosphere had a great vibe definitely I’ll return for more.

Beautiful place, we sat at the bar and ordered cocktails. I had one of tequila and watermelon Delicious! the babaganoush and chicken kebab were good but low in flavor. Good service but they could be more attentive to customers.

We enjoyed the food and the atmosphere here. However what put us off most significantly was the tip discussion.

The restaurant charges a 20% automatic service fee on your bill. In the middle of the meal, our waiter told us about that unprompted, and he began going off about how the restaurant just instituted a new policy internally and was taking a bigger cut of his tips. All of this felt like a prelude to a later push for a larger tip.

And that did happen. When the bill came, he again went into descriptions about the how much the restaurant was taking from him and the other servers, and he started physically pointing out the charges on my bill.

When I handed over my card and elected to add an additional 5% tip on top of the 20%, he didn't hesitate to tell me that I could tip even higher.

To be clear, I don't think the service really warranted a 25% tip, but I felt pressured to give it.

I recognize that restaurant ownership and employees may have disagreements about pay, but it felt inappropriate to involve the customer in that. It soured us on the entire experience.

Our server, Sophia, provided exceptional service, ensuring we were well taken care of throughout the meal. Her attentiveness and friendly demeanor added to the enjoyable atmosphere. Make sure to order the Motek Margarita, classic hummus and tzatziki spread, crunchy salad, and Malabi Israeli Panacotta!

Arguably the best baked bread I’ve ever had! If they chose to put sauce and cheese on their baked pita bread I would argue they would become the best pizza spot in Miami! The humus was delicious, latkes were really good and the lamb had a great crispiness to it. Can’t remember the name of the dish, but there is a “cigar” themed dish that consists of pastry like dough that is filled with beef.
Atmosphere is really clean and excellent.

It was our first time dining at Motek and we loved Sophia’s service. She recommended so many good dishes but our favorite was the Knafe!!! Also the manager, Daniela was so nice and found us a table right away because they were so busy when we came in! Service was amazing! Shoutout to Cheri for being so warm too

I can’t even start with this place, it was amazing. The food was delicious. The service was perfect and the place was gorgeous. Our server Soukeyra D, was so nice and gave me great recommendations on what foods to get. Highly recommended. Couldn’t even remember to take photos of my food because I ate it so fast.
