This was our second trip here and a completely different experience from the first time. We were seated right away. It took about 5 minutes to get menus. Then another 5 minutes for our drinks. After we ordered our food, we received a basket of warm bread which was really hard. We both ordered New York steaks, and neither one was cooked to order. Both were undercooked, so we had to send them back. Then they were tough. Overall, we were really disappointed in the entire visit. The one bright spot was that we ordered and shared the bread pudding, which was absolutely delicious! However, the good did not outweigh the bad. One more thing to add. The place was really cold.

The saloon is so worth it. Quick service, too. My husband and I went before a movie, and we were in and out in under an hour.

We had the chicken pot pie soup (empty bowl in the background), bread and beans, crispy mushrooms (great but needed more cook time. Some places the batter was not cooked), steak "Taco Truck" tacos (a favorite!), bacon wrapped stuffed jalapeños (they were very stuffed and with a great kick of spice), plus two drinks. For $40 for two people, so worth it.

I would recommend the pale ale battered artichoke hearts. Another favorite!

The service was excellent. My husband and I ordered the Prime Rib. I had high expectations due to the $40+ price tag. Unfortunately it was smaller than expected, had little flavor and was half fat. It was cooked to order. First time there so I may have just made a bad choice. Everything else was great. I would give them another chance.

The food was pretty good and good-sized portions. Appetizers showed up before drinks, which is odd and dumb. Little pricey for the quality, but the facility has a cool old-time theme. Also, I have never seen a cob salad without hardboiled eggs.

Where do I start, we had a large party. There was only one server (Nicky I think). She did a great job but I feel she was overwhelmed. I blame management. Now the food, my wife and I got Prime Rib. The meat was OK but over cooked (we ordered med rare but got med) there was NO seasoning my wife's "garlic mash" had little to no garlic flavor. My son ordered TriTip and was given Prime rib by mistake. His plate was underwhelming as well. I spent over $200 for underwhelming food and under staffed service. For the price and poor management I don't think I'll be back... disappointing just disappointing

It's been a minute since we've come here. We were not fans of how it was operated before. Im leaving this review because we had a great time, and the food was delicious. Just a heads up, it's kinda dark in there, so if older, you may need to use phone light to see. We started off with shrimp appetizers. So delicious. They gave us bread and beans as well. I got the full rack ribs and fries. Meat melts off the bones. So it was mess free. The others had the prime rib and more ribs. Everything was delicious. The waiter showed up at perfect times. We will for sure be back. The service is way better and food was hot. Drinks stayed full. If like us, we had a problem a few years ago. I highly suggest giving them another chance.

The lady and I visited Cool Hand Luke's on a Wednesday evening, it was pretty quiet. Alejandra was our waitress, she was very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. We ordered the calamari, prime rib, and classic New York Strip- everything was cooked perfectly to order. The au jus for the prime rib... ?. The meal does come with bread and smokey campfire beans- which were okay, but really just fillers; I'd recommend saving your appetite for the steaks, they're delicious. Enjoy!

I am really not one for leaving harsh reviews, but I think this was the worst experience I’ve ever had. The steak bits were alright, but the salmon actually tasted disgusting. All three of us tried it, and all three of us spit it out.

Now the service.. The hosts up front, super sweet, very nice, love them. But our waiter!? Rick.. oh my god dude, terrible. He talked to us maybe three times total: to take our order, asked us how we were once, and to give us our bill. Yet he was so attentive to the tables around us. Not to mention, after he gave us our bill, he walked past us at least five times, made eye contact, didn’t take the bill, continued to ignore us. We had to take it up front to pay, and keep in mind, he wasn’t busy at all.

If you pick and choose who to be nice to and give good service to, then you shouldn’t be a waiter.
