Great authentic Mexican food! Family owned. First of all - my favorite go to place for menudo. Plenty of meat with the right amount of spice.
The pork chop place is more than plentiful- plan on getting a to go box. The huevos rancheros were excellent. The salsa is the right amount of heat & flavor. Recommend this place is you want real Mexican food!
Don’t confuse this place with Tex- mex chuys.

After the watress pointed where there was a table available we sat and waited then my cousin had to get up and go get the menus then her husband had to go ask for chip and salsa then ask if we can order our drinks. But in all fairness it was really packed in and outside. But the food and atmosphere were great.

This is a pretty good place to eat its buffet all you can eat. The waitress was very friendly and punkual. And the place was clean well maintained. They were serving breakfast/lunch. The waffles were in a warmer but a bit to long they were hard as a rock. But most folks were eating lunch. Lunch was Mexican foods. Everything looked amazing! I couldn’t wait to get to my table. One bite and I was on fire !! I can not eat hot peppers!! It makes me really sick! I have an ulcer! So finally got over that after a bit and a ton of sour cream. Took a bite of something else my gosh!!! Really! Turns out everything had hot peppers in it spoonfuls of sour cream and told the waitress to please take my plate. It would have been a great place for me but those peppers…. If they would have just left those out… you guys never know who is coming into you restaraunt and is a critics but I am leave the peppers out not everybody can or will eat them or are Mexican!!

Been going here for years. The food is phenomenal. The best sour cream chicken enchiladas on the planet! Great salsa. DO NOT confuse this place with the OTHER Chuy's on 7th which is a chain that is a step above Taco Bueno. THIS Chuy's is authentic.

No body to greet you no host to seat you. The restroom is set up weirdly and there was an empty bag of drugs behind the toilet. Place seemed out dated and worn. Ordered a "burrito" de carne guisada. What they brought me was a badly made flour tortilla that wasn't wrapped just folded like a taco with the guisado falling out of it. The guisado tasted "off" kinda fishy. Beside the burrito was about a quarter of a diced jalapeño with some onion in it and some badly chopped lettuce that was mostly yellow. The chips were mid. After ordering the food the waitress never returned. The only redeeming thing was the music they were playing.

Service is great. Food is good here typical texmex. Good atmosphere plus it's next door to a flea market.
