Service was great, our waiter was working his butt off… beyond great. Good meal, just wanting more in my regular Mexican cuisine. Still on the search.

Food is adequate. But they must get the sewer smell fixed. Smell hits you from the front door and is all thru restaurant. And the smell in restrooms of course, knocks you out. PLEASE get that fixed. Will return in a couple months to update. If not done, I'm done.

To start, the salsa is very boring. If you like very interesting, very flavorful salsa, this will not interest you. It's slightly hot, but with very limited ingredients.

I ordered a burrito supreme, and a beef flour shell taco on the side. My taco shell was stale, the beef was middle of the road, and they use shredded (mozzarella?) cheese on their tacos instead of crumbling cheese, which I can't stand. The burrito, beans, and rice were all fine.

There's plenty of parking, and even on a Friday night there's no wait time, but the mediocre food is the reason why.

We had a group of 14. Servers were friendly, but seemed distracted. Had to ask for silverware, drinks, and they forgot one person's order. Would still return.

Good food, great service.

I've lived in Smyrna for 2 year's and this was my first time visiting La Siesta.

Before I reach for the salt and pepper I always sample my food first.

I had the Monday special which was 2 enchiladas, rice and beans.

It's a bit difficult finding good authentic refried beans and even harder to find good Spanish rice.

At La Siesta, I was pleasantly surprised that both were authentic tasting so needless to say, I ate the portions which I consider generous for the price of the lunch plate.

The enchiladas were just as delicious as the rest of my lunch and there was no need for me to reach for the salt or pepper.

The chips were not the best, a bit thick and dry, I suspect that they buy the chips in bulk and potentially has GMOs in them but again I don't know for certain and I could be wrong.

My server, his name was Able and he was very good at his craft.

When I walked into the restaurant I was greeted immediately and was seated in less than 1 minute.

Able greeted me as soon as I was seated, asked me what I would like to drink. I was in a bit of a hurry so I had placed my order at the same time.

My drink, chips and salsa were delivered very fast and I waited no more than 10 minutes before my lunch was served.

I will most definitely come back and try the dinner menu in the near future.

As far as price and value, take a look at the picture, you can not get this kind of meal for the price I paid at any fast food restaurant and the service there was quicker than if you walked into a Starbucks for one cup of coffee.

Hope this helps you.....
