What a lovely gite in a very pretty and peaceful village. Accommodation is really clean & comfy. The hosts, Ian and Izzy are friendly and helpful when wanted but also left us to our own devices. The walk down to the village, with fantastic restaurant & a friendly bar was just a few minutes - a little longer up the hill but with great views of the village as we went; a lovely walk and not too steep. This is a great base to explore this beautiful & green countryside with it's peaceful rivers and waterways.
We loved it so much we booked to come back in September!

Ian and Isabelle couldn’t have been more welcoming..the gite is in a perfect setting overlooking the pretty village of Nanteuil-en-Vallee and a footpath takes you down to the centre. Cosy and comfortable (we slept so well) with lots of little touches and added extras we felt very well looked after and rested. Just perfect!

Do you believe in fairytales I do after staying at this beautiful little gite. This charming little gite has everything that you could need, it's spotless, comfortable and cozy. A 5 minute walk will take you into the village with the most amazing views over the roof tops and an excellent wild fig tree on the way. The village has two lovely restaurants a pizza takeaway a local shop and a cute little tea and cake cafe. 10 minute drive into Verteuil-sur-charente where you will find more views and scenery straight from a story book and very delicious Brioche. Ian & Izzy are just the most kind, accommodating and friendly hosts, there if you need them and not if you don't, nothing is too much trouble, helpful with advice and knowledge of the area. They really made my stay special. I will definitely be back.

In één woord: geweldig!!!
Ian en Issi runnen sinds maart deze prachtige B&B. Fantastische lieve mensen, we waren hier gestrand mer onze fietsen, omdat we niet meer verder konden naar Santiago de Compostella.
We konden hier onze fietsen laten staan voor transport. En Ian heeft ons de volgende dag naar het station gebracht. De B&B is van alle gemakken voorzien tot een wasmachine aan toe. Alles is smaakvol ingericht en je hebt de beschikking over een heerlijk bed.De ligging is prachtig en je hebt hier alle vrijheid! Als je in de regio een mooie en ook nog goedkope B&B zoekt mag je deze niet missen!
