Wowowow, look I haven't had something so exciting and delicious in a long time. The fusion tacos with brisket was mind blowing. The flavors and crunch. The homemade hot sauce was super spicy and delicious. I can't wait to come back this might be my favorite bite in all of lancaster!

Mekatos is a nice surprise find. The staff are very friendly. I ordered the Lao papaya salad, which I enjoyed. I was being offered to sample the broken rice, which was also delicious.

Mekatos is located in the Lancaster Southern market and they are a Laos & Colombian fusion. My husband and I are obsessed with Desiree‘s plate the brisket one, but the chicken is good too. We just like the texture complexity of the brisket version. It has so much flavor and the crispy rice is so yummy! Whether dining in or taking out we’ve always been happy with the quality!

This was our first time at the Market. A lot of good choices to choose from. We settled on Mekatos. We got the stir fry. It looked good and was a large serving. However, the best tasting thing about the meal was the canned brisk tea We bought with the meal. There was no season or taste to anything. The sauce on top was probably the most seasoned, but barely. And of course everyone else's meal in the market looked better than our choice. We'll be back to the market but not Mekatos.

Delicious fusion food, lots of options but the very best part is the consistency. Any day, any employee and you'll get the same quality dish every time. I suggest the brisket tacos!

Ordene algo y me enviaron otra cosa muy diferente casi una hora estuve esperando para recibir esto es una BASURA , la arepa está fría y tiesa tuve que tirar todo a la basura
No fui a devolverlo porque ya a las 6 hoy domingo están cerrados pero no vuelvo a ordenar con ellos ?

Tucked in the far back corner of Southern Market is an absolute treasure named Mekatos. My initial observation was the sign stating “Laos and Colombian fusion”. I never heard of such a unique combination. I ordered the brisket tacos. Upon immediate introduction, my palate was mesmerized with culinary explosion. These are the best tacos I’ve ever eaten in my life. I’m 5’11” and 235 pounds, I’ve eaten plenty of tacos in my life. Mekatos is not an eatery, it is a passageway into a world of culinary art. Subtle flavors of corn emit from the pillowy outer envelope that delivers the complex savory flavor of brisket. There’s an entire party going on in your mouth. Sweet, savory, soft, and crunchy complexities dance while you are entranced by hypnotic flavor. Add to this the plated attention to detail. Mango sliced sticks refresh your palate in between each taste of balanced complexity. The slaw; it’s own medley of goodness. This husband and wife team don’t cook, they create. Their passion is felt and tasted in these brisket tacos at a level you know you didn’t just eat something, you had a culinary experience that introduced you to Laos and Columbian fusion.
