When we got there, there was only about 5 tables. Not busy. We got sat down immediately, but after 30 min, we finally got a waitress to take some chips & salsa. But she just left them & didn’t ask us if we were ready to order drinks or appetizers. She dropped & left. After another 20 min, she finally came back, & asks us for drinks. That’s it. After about 20 min, she finally came back and asks us real quick for our order. I asked her about the pescado a la diabla, she said it was made with a spicy salsa.
When they finally took our plates, after literally over 30 min from ordering, the fish was topped with el pato canned salsa, tomatoes, onions & pineapple. It was gross.
First & last time in that dirty, americanized “mexican restaurant”. My husband order chile relleno, & carne asada. No flavor on the meat, rice was dry, & chile relleno was made with canned tomato saucd and the chile looked and tasted like a small chile guero & was charged an additional $10 just for 1 chile. Flour tortillas, were old and crispy, they broke. As you can see in pix.
Never will come back to this place.

I didn’t really think Victorville would have good Mexican food but I was wrong. On our way back home to Vegas we were pretty hungry and already over the mountain. We love Mexican food and decided to give this restaurant a try. I really like the decorations. Super plain and simple yet cute and fits the vibe perfectly. Staff speak English and Spanish. We had the combination plates which came with rice and beans. You also get salsa and chips while you order. With our plates we had the choice of tortilla and meatball soup. Definitely going to go back to this place again. So affordable and delicious. If you’re in the area definitely give this place a try!!!

Extremely uncomfortable. I went to the bar to sit, have a beer, and grab something to eat. As I was ordering, I grabbed the remote and started watching TV. The waitress asked me if I spoke Spanish, and I told her that I understood it, but it was hard to speak it. I received a phone call, and then a gentleman came out of the kitchen and grabbed the remote. The waitress explained that I was actually watching something on the TV. He said he didn't care and proceeded to change it. At the same time, there was an older man who looked to be cutting his nails at the table. This is definitely not the place we're you will be respected. I have been going to this place for 10 years plus and will never return to this place. They are definitely selective on the type of people they will serve. I asked for my meal to go, and my waitress apologized for the way I was treated. I would never want anyone to go through what I was put through at this place. The food tasted spoiled, and the salsa was very watery. Maybe the same person who treated me like this made my food. I'm sorry this place has someone like this working for them. This place is definitely a no-go zone. Felt a bit of racism going on.

Ordered the shrimp cocktail. It was really good. The shrimp was fresh. Waitress was nice and took our order and made sure we had chips and salsa before our meal. Nice Mexican restaurant.

The first time I tried this place I was very happy with Service and food . I órdered carne asada with rice and Beans my food was delicious my carne was juicy and tasted so good my waitress was very friendly and got fast service I Will be back

We were actually going to try a different restaurant, but they were closed. We had seen the sign for Los Toritos on Bear Valley so we went to their restaurant instead. We were so glad we did! Everything exceeded our expectations. Our waiter was friendly, humorous and he stayed on top of everything, checking back frequently to make sure everything was okay. The food was excellent - perhaps the best Mexican food we have found in the Victor Valley area! We will definitely be coming back, even though we live over in Apple Valley.

One of the best Mexican food restaurants in the High Desert! We have been coming here for almost 20 years and before the Pandemic, they had an awesome all-you-eat buffet! Hope they bring it back. We love their chili rellenos and their chips and salsa are the best!

Huge side salad with my chili colorado. The service was excellent and I loved the bean. The chili colorado could have been hotter but the meat was tender.
