My wife and I dined here last night (on Black Friday). We loved everything about this cozy, hip pan-Asian joint. Although we didn't have reservations, they sat us immediately.

For a starter, we chowed down on the Ninja Totchos, which comes with pickled jalapeño and red onion, chimichurri, and Korean bbq sauce. For entrees, my wife got the smoked tofu maki rolls, and I got the Southern Smoke Ramen. This particular ramen comes with pulled pork, which I prefer, instead of chashu.

We will have to return soon to dine on the back patio!

LOVE this place. The hidden gem of Denton. Their Mean Green roll might be the best sushi roll I've ever had. Elle was a phenomenal server. Lot of personality and great recommendations.

My cousin Gregory a bartender at Free Play brought me here for lunch once.
It was awesome
So I went back by myself last night…
Chase was my server the best…
And Victoria’s give out pure understanding of pole bear marketing pro bono… oh and hilarious
Victoria was cosplaying as Chase so I couldn’t tell switch one was switch.
I’m definitely coming back with the family. Love this place.

This place is so good to me. Denton is so lucky to have this restaurant my partner and I come here for date nights. And we also always get the menu on the tables items or see what’s “secret menu”. 10/10 experience everytime and food is so tasty. I love the variety if you’ve got a friend who isn’t too into sushi. There is ramen and bao buns and sashimi. It’s just a plethora of delicious meals. Worth every penny.

The food was good but the sushi was a little small in size I wish there was a little more food for the price. But over all the service was great and the food didn’t taste that bad. The food came out quickly and the attention to our table was nice. We had a small little meal here and we had a good experience.

What a fun find! We happened on Komodo Loco because the place we were looking for had a long wait which really ended working out for us. They've won alot of awards locally with good reason!!! The vibe is laid back and low-key with 80s hits jamming in the background at the perfect pitch. There's an we'll appointed bar to your left when you walk in and the interior is broken up into 4 sections so it works to keep the atmosphere intimate and avoids that cavernous feelings of so many Dallas eateries. I had the Komodo ramen which was delish and we split 2 orders of the pork belly bao (we could have eaten a dozen more.. they were THAT good). They've got Sapporo on tap so we had to have that cause who has Sapporo on tap?!!! Definitely going back when we're in Denton again

I expected this place to be solid based on the reviews I read, but my expectations were blown away. The chicken fried rice with sweet garlic thai sauce was out of this world good (apologies for the unflattering picture, I dug in right away before thinking to snap a pic). Highly recommend!

It was very salty and we didn't even finish it. Fried rice, pork and bread are really very salty.
