This afternoon, I paid a visit to this restaurant for a late lunch. Upon arrival, I noticed that the venue was largely unoccupied, with only one other table filled. My dining companion and I selected a cozy corner booth and began perusing the menus provided by our server.

I decided on a Reuben sandwich paired with a side of French onion soup. Conversely, my husband chose a half dozen wings and an appetizer called pork sliders. Our food was served in a prompt manner. The French onion soup was hot and flavorful, boasting a rich flavor and a generous helping of melted cheese. The Reuben was equally tasty, featuring an abundance of corned beef and tangy sauerkraut.

While my husband's wings were enjoyable, the true standout of his meal was the pork sliders. These consisted of four sliders filled with pulled pork, sauerkraut, thousand island dressing, and topped with a cherry cranberry compote. Although this combination may seem unusual, the flavors melded together surprisingly well.

Throughout our meal, our server provided attentive and friendly service, and the restaurant maintained a clean and welcoming atmosphere. We are already anticipating our next visit.

The James is inside the Holiday Inn. It was renovated a few years ago and looks nice. Some interesting food choices. Mediterranean platter and falafel wrap were good. Would have liked more hummus and veggies in the wrap. Caesar salad is pretty good. For more interior photos, see my much older previous review!

WOW! We were looking for a place to eat after seeing the abandoned bunkers. We checked in, and the concierge told me about the restaurant located in the hotel. We ordered the Brussel appetizer and the burger with sweet fries. Both were delicious. The sprouts were so tasty. I usually don't eat them. The patty on the burger was cooked just right. No pink, not dry, & not greasy. I would give them a 100..... complements to the chef. Our waitress Kayla was sweet and paid attention to the details. Thank you for your kindness. All the staff is wonderful and amazing.

6 entrees on their menu. Not cool. French onion soup was good, wings were dry and sauce was right out of a jar. Caesar salad was not served with romaine but iceberg lettuce. Jazz music, service and atmosphere was great

If you are gluten sensitive, this isn’t your place. The last time we were here, they were and they are listed favorably in Find Me Gluten Free.

Also - if you’re in a hurry go somewhere else. It took an hour to get 4 bowls of soup, wings and a grilled cheese.

Had to eat here because they messed up my reservation. I ordered the small salad and the grilled sirloin. Sirloin has never been my choice of steak but it's all they have except the pricier tenderloin. The salad is not fresh. The steak is very chewy and salty. It's not my kind of restaurant and foods.

Tim is the best bar tender! He's efficient, fun, and knowledgeable. The food and service at the bar is really good! The outdoor bar is beautiful and has a beautiful fireplace!

So glad the chef knows how to make a poached egg. And the price for a delicious eggs benny? Insane good. We are making it a weekly stop.
