4 E's Latin Cuisine - Lancaster, Pennsylvania

I recently experienced 4E for the first time at their new location in the Red Lion Franklin Street Social across the trail from Grounding Specialty Coffee.

I asked them to make me whatever they felt was a good representation of their food. I was offered Sancocho (which I didn't even see on the menu). It's a hearty stew with large bone-in pieces of beef (though they make it with chicken or pork as well) and the largest chunks of vegetables I've ever been served. There was almost an entire cob of corn in the stew, massive carrots, sweet potatoes, and more. It was rich and creamy, savory, and subtly sweet. And the serving size provided me with lunch for the next two days.

The Southern Market has many great stalls, and 4E’s is 100% included in that. The staff was friendly and even informed me that there would be a longer wait as the ribs were not done cooking. It was well worth the wait.

The ribs were fall off the bone tender, had an amazing maple bbq glaze, and was heft in weight. For half a rack, you get tons of food and great flavor packed. The ribs was the star of the show with how great it was. The meat was tender and juicy, and just went well with the sauce. My rice was a little hard for my liking, but the beans combined with the rice created a great combo together. The beans had a great flavor and was generous in portion. Packed with spices, flavor and was very hot.

I would definitely go here to try something else, but would be hard to with how great the ribs were.

It's a Sunday they are opened from 11-6 asked the young man behind the counter if they had pernil and would there be enough for me to place an order after I had my drink. He stated yes. I didn't even finish my drink and went over was told they sold out 15 mins ago! Seriously? First time here and the last. You have 3 more hours to go and your out of a top seller in every Hispanic restaurant around, very disappointed, maybe reconsider your hours of operation and close at 3.

Southern Market is a very pleasant and appealing spot that offers multiple choices for food with a walk-up bar right in the center of the huge food court. I enjoyed my dinner at 4 E's Latin Cuisine. The food was reasonably priced and delicious. We had some of the baked chicken and pernil (roasted pork) with white rice and red beans. Food was awesome, and Eddy, the owner, was very friendly. It's a family owned business, so I was happy to show my support. I would highly recommend 4 E's Latin Cuisine!!

While visiting my sister in Lancaster, I went to eat to 4 E”s Latin Cuisine! The 5 stars reviews do no justice to how delicious the food is. I’ll give it 10 stars if I could! I had ribs with Moro!!!! It was delicious!!! Eddy Rodriguez sure knows how to cook!

Fantastic food! We had the cuban sandwich and the BBQ roasted pork sandwich. Both were delicious and the service was very quick.

I love the food! I come here on the food tour almost weekly. They have several vegan options. The Beans, yuca fries, and black bean salad are my favorite.
