Visit from out of town and we stopped in because of the good reviews. Let me tell you we are happy we stopped in. The owner Kevin approach us on a Sunday and asked us how the fried bananas were and felt welcomed. I now have my go too stop when I’m in town, I’m sure you will enjoy it as much as we did!! Highly recommended

Amazing flavors!
This place is a gem! They have all the delicious Vietnamese street food favorites I love, and everything tastes incredibly fresh and authentic. Plus, their boba is fantastic - chewy pearls and perfectly flavored tea. I highly recommend checking them out! Whether you're looking for a quick bite or a full meal, this spot hits the spot.

1368 Sweet Corner Cafe is not cheap, but the portion sizes are generous and match the price of the items. They offer both cash and credit card prices.

The mochi donuts are a standout item on the menu and are highly recommended. They are delicious and worth trying. The pho is made with bone broth, which is a nice touch, but some customers may find the soup to be less salty than they prefer. Adding salt can enhance the flavor of the soup.

The atmosphere of the restaurant is nice and relaxing. There is one area for dining in and another sofa area for sitting and relaxing. It’s a great place to hang out with friends or to enjoy a meal alone.

One suggestion I have for the restaurant is to consider making the portion sizes smaller and lowering the prices. This could attract more customers who are looking for a more affordable option.

Overall, 1368 Sweet Corner Cafe is a great place to visit if you’re looking for delicious Vietnamese street food and bubble tea. The mochi donuts are a must-try!

DON'T LISTEN to the awful reviews if you can't appreciate the smells and flavors of authentic Vietnamese cuisine just because you're used to Americanized Asian food.

I had the Pork Chop combination. It was an orchestra of tasty Vietnamese goodness! The sweet fish sauce went so well with eggs, grilled-to-perfection pork, and veggies. Every bite was a combination of flavors that made me close my eyes as I savored them.

My wife ordered the beef pho that was light and flavorful at the same time. Good amount of fresh veg and beef. Noodles were fresh and cooked to the right texture and chewiness.

Staff were very friendly and helpful! The whole area is very nice and chill. They have comfy lounge couches so you can just chill and drink some boba or eat some yummy mochinuts. I also love that they have so many sauces for you to choose from. The sweet fish sauce is the way to go!

Today, around 1:45 PM, I had a deeply disappointing experience at Sweet Corner. My family and I have been regular customers for a while, and I’ve never had an issue—until now.

I placed a substantial order: five teas (four with boba), chicken pho, and six donuts. A young kid at the register took my order, but it quickly became clear that things were going to go wrong.

While waiting, I noticed the young staff behind the register goofing off and chatting, showing little regard for customers. When my order finally came out, two of the teas were wrong—they had milk in them, which I did not request. When I pointed this out, a young lady who came out from the kitchen responded with a dismissive attitude, saying, “Boba tea has milk,” and added, “You should’ve been more specific and ordered green tea with boba for next time.”

I was taken aback, not only by her lack of accountability but also by her attitude. Both the young kid and the young lady exchanged smirks and shrugged at each other at least three times, as if my issue was a joke. I calmly explained that this behavior was incredibly unprofessional, especially in front of a customer. The young lady rudely responded, “I didn’t take your order.”

To make matters worse, my concerns were completely ignored. When the manager came to the front, she didn’t even bother to speak to me directly. Instead, she pulled the young lady aside privately, leaving me standing there with no resolution. I understand there are policies about no returns, but I should never have been treated like that—especially in front of my children.

As a business owner, I take immense pride in providing my clients with the best possible experience. I know my clients can go anywhere, but they choose to come to me because I offer top-quality service and always show my gratitude for their business. Unfortunately, that is something I did not receive from Sweet Corner. The dismissiveness, lack of professionalism, and unwillingness to correct a simple mistake made me feel undervalued as a customer.

I was incredibly upset by how I was treated. I even explained my frustrations in Spanish to another employee I’ve seen before, hoping for some understanding. I let her know how hurtful it was to be treated so poorly, especially when I’ve always been a loyal customer. I told her that I didn’t want to overreact, knowing that as a Black woman, I might be stereotyped for being upset. The employee I spoke to apologized for the way I was treated, and I greatly appreciated that. However, it was clear that the young staff at the front were either children or relatives of the owners.

To make matters worse, when I got home, the boba tea tasted watered down, and the chicken pho was completely flavorless. The only thing that was even halfway decent was the donuts, but that couldn’t make up for the poor service.

I am extremely upset about how I was treated and will not be returning. The lack of accountability and professionalism is glaringly obvious, and if this is how they treat their customers, it’s clear there’s a bigger problem. I’ll be sharing my experience with others so that they can avoid the frustration I dealt with.
While I ordered the boba teas and pho, my children wanted something sweet, which is why there’s a second receipt for the donuts. I’ve included pictures of both receipts as proof of my visit.

Pretty impressed. Food was good and staff was friendly and very willing to explain "odd" items on menu. I tried the Grilled Sate Bahn Mi which was unique with all of the ingredients served on top of a chopped up French baguette. I like Vietnamese food and have never had anything like it... I like being surprised. The mochi donuts were really good and served fresh and hot.
